Commission a Painting
I am happy to paint pretty much any subject, just contact me with your ideas and I will let you know what I am able to do and provide approximate prices.
Below are a selection of Pet Portrait options and approximate prices for commissions. To get an idea of what style you like, please see my Pet Portrait Page and Main Gallery Page which will give you more examples of my work.
I usually need at least 6 weeks to complete an original painting. For a wool painting I need approximately 4 months. Once you have decided what you would like, head on over to my SHOP page and place your order.

The price for an oil pastel portraits is £150 for a 14 x 12 inch painting, which is mounted, ready for framing

The price for an oil painting is £150 for 14 X 12 inch picture, ready for you to place in a standard sized frame, or can be painted directly onto a box canvas ready to hang.

Wool and Acrylic - Example painting
Cleo was painted purely in wool
Wool and Acrylic paintings are £200 for an A4 wool painting which is on canvas and strung ready for a standard A4 size frame.
It is your commission so you decide if there is anything else you would like to do. Wool commissions can be larger, have more than one pet or can even contain the pets own hair (from you brushing your pet and sending the fur to me for inclusion)

How to arrange a commission
If you decide you would like a commission painting please use the 'contact me' page for the initial enquiry.
I will then arrange to get reference photos from you, either by email or post.
If you don't know exactly what you would like, I can look at the photos and tell the the options that would be available and prices
We will agree a time frame for completion (usually 6 weeks but it would need to be longer at busier times)
The deposit amount required to begin work is advised. When you pay your deposit, I begin your portrait
A preview of the portrait will be available for you to check that you are 100% happy with your commission
I will deliver your original painting to you.
